Builds, repairs & upgrades
What’s on your desk?
A new build idea, a PC that won’t start, or a laptop with a hardware problem—tell me what you’re working with.
Not sure where to start? →Custom PC builds
For games, work, or a bit of both. Bring your own components, or I can source parts from Micro Center.
Assembly from $149 / PC
Parts, shipping, and optional protection plans are separate. Standard single builds have same-day turnaround.
Desktop repairs
Won’t start, running into hardware trouble, or not sure what’s wrong? Describe the symptoms and what you’ve tried.
Repair pricing and timing are quoted individually.
Laptop hardware
Help with basic hardware issues. Send your laptop’s make, model, and the problem so I can check whether I can help.
Upgrades
Adding memory, storage, or another component? I’ll check compatibility before we decide what to change.

Need PCs for your team? Send me the number of systems, the software you use, your budget, and your target date.
Standard assembly starts at $149 per PC. Business and bulk requests get a project quote and their own timeline; parts, shipping, and optional coverage are separate.
Business equipment may qualify for deductions or depreciation. Check with your tax professional about your purchase. IRS guidance.
After the build.
Every PC includes 30 days of basic maintenance and support. This covers help with your PC, not replacement of whole components.
I also ship PCs. Include your destination in your request so we can discuss arrangements and shipping costs.
Ask me about support →Parts sourcing & optional protection
I can source your components from Micro Center, or you can bring your own parts. For parts I source, I review your selected components and quote any eligible Micro Center protection options separately. Pricing varies by component and plan, and any whole-purchase option must first be confirmed as eligible by Micro Center. You can accept or decline after the price and plan terms are confirmed; requesting a quote does not purchase coverage. If you decline, you receive the included 30-day basic maintenance and support, with no added parts warranty arranged through Frostcore PCs. I don’t arrange these plans for customer-supplied parts. Existing manufacturer or retailer warranties are separate.
Defects & shipping damage
Defects, shipping damage, exclusions, and claims are governed by the selected plan. Shipping damage is not automatically covered, so confirm the plan terms before you buy.

A few questions before you book.
For a quick answer about hours, location, or services, use the questions button.
Do you work on laptops as well as desktops?
Yes. Frostcore PCs handles laptop repairs and basic hardware issues as well as desktop repairs and custom PC builds. Send the device model and issue so we can discuss the work.
How much will my repair or build cost?
Standard PC assembly starts at $149 per PC for consumer and business builds. Parts, shipping, and optional protection plans are separate. Bulk business orders and nonstandard builds are quoted based on scope and quantity. Repairs are quoted individually, and the final price is confirmed before work begins.
Do you ship PCs?
Yes. Email Frostcorepcs@gmail.com with your destination to discuss shipping arrangements for your order.
What does the 30-day support policy include?
Every PC includes 30 days of maintenance and support. This policy does not include replacement of whole system components. Email me for maintenance or support help.
How do optional protection plans work?
For parts I source from Micro Center, I review your selected components, confirm eligible plans, and provide a separate coverage quote. Prices vary by component and plan. Any whole-purchase option is subject to Micro Center confirming eligibility. You may accept or decline after we confirm the price and terms. A quote request does not purchase a plan.
What if I decline coverage or bring my own parts?
Declining optional coverage leaves the included 30-day basic maintenance and support, with no added parts warranty arranged through Frostcore PCs. Whole-component replacements are not included in basic support. You may bring your own components; I don’t arrange these optional plans for customer-supplied parts. Existing manufacturer or retailer warranties are separate.
Does a protection plan cover shipping damage?
Do not assume shipping damage is covered. Coverage for defects, shipping damage, and other events depends on the selected plan’s terms and exclusions, which must be confirmed before purchase.
What are your hours and build turnaround times?
Appointments are available Monday–Friday, 2–10 p.m. Central in Hopkins, Minnesota. Standard single PC builds have same-day turnaround. Turnaround for business requests varies by order and is confirmed individually. Repair timelines are discussed before work begins.
Do you build PCs for businesses?
Yes, individual workstations or bulk builds. Choose “Business / bulk PC builds” in the appointment form and include your quantity, intended use, budget, and target date so we can discuss a quote and timeline.
Is my chosen time automatically reserved?
No. The form prepares an email request. You need to send that email, and Frostcore PCs will reply to confirm an appointment.
What should I include in my request?
Your device make and model, the problem you’re experiencing, and anything you’ve already tried. For a custom PC, include your budget and the games or applications you plan to use.
